What do you expect, it was 1972! The description states:

“spunky pair of overalls”
“just right for a vacation in the country or on a farm”
“slip them over a body suit”
“you’ll be a real country girl”
I live in the country, have two horses and a barn.
This is not country wear my friends.
I must go now and applique apples on all my clothing.
